The Ferns did themselves proud again on their ‘Finding your Element’ Historians trip to the Anne Frank exhibition. Children from KS1 and KS2, who had shown a keen interest during their humanities lessons, were chosen to visit the exhibition about the life of the inspirational historical figure, Anne Frank. During their visit, the children showed excellent retrieval skills by locating key information about Anne’s life as well as working collaboratively when studying a variety of historical sources. The children’s behaviour was exemplary and we were blown away by the knowledge and interest they demonstrated throughout the exhibition.
