I am both incredibly proud and profoundly delighted to be able to offer you a warm welcome to Northern Education Trust, The Ferns Primary Academy.

Our Academy is a vibrant, diverse and welcoming community, which is not only an outstanding place to learn but also work.

At The Ferns Primary Academy, we unashamedly focus on the educational outcomes of our students. We believe that this is the intrinsic purpose of running a successful school and we are exceedingly proud that we achieve this by taking a truly child centred approach. Our students are the most important people in our building.

At The Ferns Primary Academy we deliver an exciting and ‘unique’ curriculum, one which stimulates children’s imagination and helps them to develop a love for learning and a thirst for knowledge! Our curriculum is broad and exciting; it is filled with practical experiences to engage and motivate the children to always want to learn more: stimulating young minds as well as preparing them for the modern world.
